The momentum has accelerated tremendously over the last 6 years, with grant awards, support from the City Council, and greatly-expanded public awareness of the ongoing work to preserve Petaluma’s trestle and trolley. The Petaluma Trolley Museum houses many artifacts and displays that tell the story of the early years right through to the current efforts to restore the trestle and with it, a very valuable piece of Petaluma’s history.
